I have finished reading the fifth installment in the Harry Potter series. And I have to say, it's again a very gripping book and fun to read. Although it is again fatter than it's predecessor, there are no boring patches in it.

I could tell you, who get's killed this time, but I won't. Don't want to spoil it for you.

Rowling introduces a new "Defense Against the Dark Arts" teacher in this book. The character is very good drawn. Although I disliked it from the beginning, some of the best parts of the book show it in action. It's very convincing. I felt myself reminded of a teacher o mine I had back in school.

Boring! Harry Potter is boring and sucks!

That's always a question of taste. And you cannot argue about taste.
Well, it's nothing with very difficult maneuvers and you won't get great philosophical pieces of wisdom from it. After all it's a book for children.
But nevertheless I found it worth reading because it is IMHO a very well written book. Well you have to have a liking for fantasy books to see something in the Harry Potter books.

No, Harry Potter sucks! We want more windows xp stuff!

ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US

I've personally try to finish the whole book.. but alas.. it's so darn thick.. gonna take me ages.....

It's worth the while though. So keep reading.
You don't want to miss the final fight.
